MY SISU features a robust anchor setup with a Maxwell 3500 windlass, 122 m of 12/13 mm DIN 766 chain, an Ultra Marine swivel, and a Rocna 55 kg anchor.
Overhaul and Extension
The existing 122 m of chain was flipped end-to-end and fully re-galvanized with new zinc coating. Using an Osculati chain connector, an additional 50 m of 13 mm Grade 40 chain was added.
The entire chain length now has clear chain markers.
The Rockna Anchor was liquid galvanized by a service company, too. The anchor is a 55Kg version.
